Disability solutions founded in November 2019 by Innocent VUGUZIGA a visually impaired assistive technology teacher aiming to solve the problem of unavailability and unaffordability of assistive devices Its headquarters located in Kigali city, precisely Gasabo district, Kimironko sector. Before the foundation of disability solutions, there was no shop or institution known as a supplier of assistive technology in Rwanda.
Vision: to be the reference institution of assistive technology in a region Mission: Providing affordable and accessible assistive technology solutions to people with disabilities for their full participation in the society.
Key activities of disability solutions:
- Supply and distribution of assistive technology services and products
- Offer trainings on assistive technology and independent living skills
- Provide consultancy for projects, trainings and policy development on assistive technology.
- Provide regular support for assistive technology devices’ use, maintenances and repairs.
